Our overnighter means you don’t need time off work (if you book over a weekend) and you get to experience some enjoyable sailing with a good amount of time ashore to enjoy the shops, pubs and restaurants. You have the option to sail in Devon or Cornwall. Ask a question.

Description

The adventure starts on Friday evening where we check you in to your own cabin (you can also arrive the next morning). After breakfast on Saturday, we head off to one of the day sail destinations. During the sail, we will practise boat handling, different points of sail, sail trimming and helming, whilst taking in the views of the beautiful South West coastline.

Once moored, an enjoyable evening out is guaranteed. All of our locations for the evening stop have plenty of pubs and restaurants.

We’ll make sure you’re back at your starting location by 4 o’clock Sunday afternoon, leaving you plenty of time to travel home.

Overnighters also run during the week – same format, different days!

Sail in Devon or Cornwall

Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers (River Yealm)
Are among the most attractive and un-spoilt villages in Devon, with a collection of lovely pubs such as the Ship Inn

Salcombe
This quaint and attractive little town has a rather upmarket feel with plenty of boutique style shops, combined with a good helping of bustling pubs and restaurants. A great location on or off season.

Cawsands
A popular anchorage with good holding and plenty of space, just off the twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand. Sheltered in the prevailing winds, particularly the south-west, this can be a wonderful lunchtime or overnight stop.

Fowey
Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the town hangs off the west side of the Fowey estuary where the large, deep water harbour is a magnet for the yachting crowd.
